Star Spangled Outfits – Dressing for the 4th of July
Cue the fireworks, the 4th of July is almost here and we want to dress the part. Summer is officially setting in, and so is the heat. So, we want to share some of our favorite looks sure to add a cool factor to your plans, regardless of the temp.
Red, white, and blue (jean shorts). This summer we have been sharing everything from fits to price points, and we can’t help but sing the praises of these bermuda shorts while we’re on the topic. A little extra length in the leg balances out that slightly cropped top that will keep things heat-wave friendly. If you’re spending the 4th near the water – this is the look for you.
Guys, we know a graphic tee is your go-to, so we will play along. Let’s just sneak in a little bit of statement like this tee from Sullen. All-American doesn’t have to mean playing it safe, add a little punch to your graphic game – for America. Backyard BBQ, anyone?
The short-sleeve button-up has become one of our seasonal favorites, and that isn’t changing any time soon. We suggest having some fun with prints and patterns, while sticking to a lighter color palette to beat the heat. Add a denim short – and you have a full look you’ll want to wear again and again.
Bring on the hot dogs and Bomb Pops, we found our dream Americana look. As the day slips into night, we reach for light layers that look like they were part of the outfit from the start. Whether you plans involve the water, your best friend’s backyard, or maybe that parade on Main Street have a fun and SAFE 4th!
