…thump… thump… thump-thump-thump…
That’s your heartbeat.
Spotting a flirty-femme blouse, last in your size, you seize the moment. Running your hand over the fabric, you reach for the tag. So soft. So elegant. So… RAYON?!
We’ve been there. Before you make any drastic decisions, we’re here to give you the confidence to say, “yes” to all the pretty things of this world. Kittens included.
We promise there is a way to keep your flowy favorites wrinkle and shrink free. Detergent, mandatory.
Working with solid color rayon, lace, wool, or linen? Before you begin washing, always read the care labels for instructions. If none are given, follow below.
- Fill your sink or washbasin with lukewarm to cold water adding a couple drops of detergent (one for delicates preferred).
- Then, place your garment in the water and gently swish it around for three to five minutes avoiding any severe movements.
- To dry, put the item on a towel and gently pat and squeeze the excess water from the fabric. Do not wring and twist the fabric. Simply transfer the shirt to another towel if necessary and continue to pat until it is damp. Lay the garment flat on a drying rack to air dry.
Helpful Hint: Using a clean microfiber bath mat can help dry the fabric faster. You may also hang to dry for even faster results. Keep in mind that your hanger might make a slight crease in the shoulder.
