The Perfect Holiday Cookie

Yields1 Serving

1 cup sour cream
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 cup butter, melted
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
5 cups flour, sifted

mix baking soda and salt into sour cream until dissolved

in separate bowl, mix butter and sugar

add eggs and vanilla to butter mixture

mix in sour cream mixture

slowly add in flour while mixing well

chill for at least one hour (patience is key, here!)

roll out your dough and cut into your favorite holiday shapes

bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes

once baked, let cookies cool and start to decorate with your favorite frosting and sprinkles
