The time has come when the gifts have all been opened, the lights and trees start to come down, and we’re getting ready to ring in another year. But even though the holidays may be coming to a close, our celebration isn’t – in fact we’ve decided that we’re going to celebrate New Year’s Eve with style.
This year, we’re leaving the casual comfy outfits in our closets and finally getting dressed up again for that New Year’s Eve party. But after a year off, just any outfit won’t do. There needs to be some sparkle, some shine, and some show-stopping pieces in our New Year’s Eve outfit.
With all of this in mind (and with our excitement growing each day) we’ve put together some New Year’s Eve outfits, so you have some inspiration when building yours.
Let’s get the party started with a classic, dressed up men’s look. Start with a button up shirt – we chose one with a simple, yet eye-catching pattern. Pair that with some dark wash jeans, some boots, and a few accessories to pull it all together. Oh, and of course don’t forget the silly string.
Now here’s that sparkle we were talking about! Start with a top that has a metallic shine in the fabric and tuck it into jeans that have added details at the waist. Throw on a pair of tall over the knee boots and some accessories and you’re ready to watch the ball drop.
For a men’s look that brings a level of comfort, we paired a textured sweater with jeans and black boots. While this look is easy to put together, it still looks put-together – all thanks to the detail in the sweater.
To everyone who’s had an unworn bodysuit in their closet all year – it’s time to break it out and this is your proof. All you need is a pair of jeans, boots, and a fun textured jacket to pair it with. The bodysuit we went with has a metallic shine and fun cutouts (it’s pretty much the life of the party).
