The first release features three trending styles of jeans and two pairs of jean shorts, and everything in the denim line sells for under $50 🙌 As denim aficionados, we had to try on EVERYTHING, and give you all the details on the latest brand to come on the denim scene.
The Mom Jean
What We Love: As our favorite jean from the trio, we’re excited to finally have a truly vintage-looking jean (but without the vintage price tag).
And These 👏 Jeans 👏 Deliver 👏
Coming in at $49.95, the price isn’t the only shockingly good thing about these jeans. Made of 98% cotton, you would think these jeans would be super rigid like a classic Levi’s jean, but surprisingly they’re as stretchy as your favorite KanCans. With these jeans, you truly are getting the best of both worlds.
Sizing: The fit is nearly true to size, but we recommend going one size up to achieve that cool mom (not a regular mom) slightly loose fit. If you do order your true size, the jeans will fit because of their stretch, but will be more of a slim fit.
High Rise Cuffed Shorts
What We love: The high rise, the wash, and the distressing giving these shorts a vintage vibe.
Sizing: With the high rise, 2.5″ inseam, and cuffed hem, be prepared to show a lot of leg (especially you tall girls out there). Willow + Roots shorts come in x-small to x-large sizing, and when trying on a couple of the sizes, we found that these shorts in particular run slightly smaller than true to size. So if you think you’re between sizes, we recommend going with the larger size.
Frayed Ankle Skinny Jean
What We Love: The frayed hem, mid-rise, and shorter inseam give us all the trends. These jeans are similar to styles we’ve seen from KanCan – but what makes Willow + Root special is that it’s only available at Buckle.
Sizing: True to size. The rise and stretch will have you loving how this jean fits.
Mid-Rise Frayed Shorts
What We Love: These shorts so are stretchy and comfortable. We love the frayed hem, mid-rise and 2.5″ inseam – giving these shorts just the necessary amount of coverage.
Sizing: True to size. Willow + Roots shorts do run in x-small to x-large sizing, so make sure to check the size guide on buckle.com.
Black Ultra High Rise Jean
What We Love: The versatility of this classic black jean, and flattering fit of the ultra high rise on these jeans.
Sizing: Fitting true to size, these super stretchy jeans will fit just about any body type.
