If it seems like we’ve gone a little denim crazy, well, you’re not wrong.
But with all of the options we have now, plus with knowing what we still have coming for fall, you would be in the same boat. Actually, we really hope you already are.
We’ve talked a bit about how Buckle has made it a goal to offer more selection than ever before, we’ve gone over some of the up-and-coming big denim trends for him, and now we are diving head first into denim trends for us (yeah, ladies!).
Keep reading for what may just become your next go-to pair of jeans.
1. black denim

A trend that *almost* needs no introduction.
We have been crushing on black denim for a few seasons now, but this fall we are head-over-heels as day-to-night dressing moves to the front burner. Whether going from the big game on Saturday to drinks that night, or simply from the office to those dinner plans you made last week — black denim is a great option for a slightly more elevated look that always reads put together, even when thrown together.
2. dad jeans

Denim has become a family affair, and not just because everyone is now finding fits they love at Buckle.
Mom jeans, girlfriend jeans, boyfriend jeans, and now dad jeans are sneaking their way into our go-to jean pile — and honestly, we love a good denim party with the ones we love.
Here’s a quick break down:
Mom jeans: fitted in the waist with a blown out hip and thigh to really deliver on that vintage look.
Girlfriend jeans: looser from the waist down to the hem for a straight fit.
Boyfriend jeans: this one will be more of a mid-rise and slightly relaxed throughout.
Dad jeans: the most important guy in your life is now who you’re turning to for a bit of fashion advice, we didn’t see it coming either. The dad jean is an overall blown out feel, reminiscent of a true men’s jean, this is for all the girls wanting a little oomph to their jean lineup.
3. super flare

Go ahead, turn up the volume.
We told you about the reboot of the bootcut, we gave a modern twist to the retro flare, and now things are getting even more fun with the introduction of the super flare.
Think even more fabric to give you that true ’70s-inspired silhouette, which will be sure to turn heads. We love transitioning this trend to fall by pairing it with a pointed-toe bootie just to give a little extra wow-factor.
4. hem detailing

There is something about a hem detail that makes us go heart-eyed, and this new addition is turning our affair into a forever type of thing.
Our ankle skinny selection is continuing to grow, now with options in longer inseams for girls 5’10 and taller out there that want all the detail, without compromising on that *almost* full length look.
The jean above is coming soon and actually showcases what our buyers are calling a tulip hem, probably has something to do with that perfect high/low dip in the front. Consider it one we have our eyes on.
5. destructed denim

Chances are, you already have a little bit of destruction in your denim lineup, but the details are just getting better and better moving into fall. With new fill yarn details to showcase white, blue, and black destruction, and jeans that double up with leg and hem destruction — we have quite a few new pairs in our selection that will have you excited to pull out those boots for cooler weather.
Really stepping it up, is the new destruction and all-around new details on some of our favorite in-house brands like Buckle Black and BKE. We love a good glow-up and these jeans have honestly never looked better.
Warm weather comes and goes, but destructed denim might just be forever.
