Meet Andrea. As one of our talented photographers at Buckle, she spends a portion of her time behind the lens. Capturing the perfect shots and finding the right lighting are all a part of her daily routine. At her latest photoshoot for the holidays, Andrea describes why she loves her job and what it’s like to be on set.
One of my favorite parts of my job is getting to travel with the photography team to our campaign photoshoots – I love to travel and the locations are awesome! Not to mention, I have a front row seat to all of the behind-the-scenes action – from hair and makeup to hanging out with the models and crew; I get to experience it all. Most recently, the team and I traveled to Denver, Colorado for our week long holiday campaign shoot (I included some of my favorite snaps below). Our time there was filled with a great mix of all things Denver plus, we explored the beautiful mountain towns nearby.
When I’m not traveling on photoshoots, I get to work with the models in our home studio at the Corporate Office. I create additional content on Buckle.com such as photography for our style projects, Instagram account, and our other social media sites. It’s inspiring to collaborate and work with the stylists and design teams to create a concept that makes our work come to life. Another added bonus? I get to see all the product before it ever arrives online or in stores – it’s the ultimate sneak peek… even though my wallet may not agree!
Getting to do something I’m passionate about as my profession is the best. I love to travel and take pictures, I couldn’t imagine doing anything else!
