Ditch the Snapchat Filter, Grab Your Sunnies

Let’s talk face to face. Or lens to lens.

You get the point.

Shopping for sunglasses is much like shopping for its sun-soaked counterpart, the swimsuit. We want something fun, that fits well, and doesn’t accentuate the wrong places.

First step, knowing your face shape. Second step, knowing the frame that capitalizes on summer fun, instead of overshadowing it.

BKE aviator sunglasses – similar Ray-ban style available as well

Oval shape:  you have a balanced forehead, cheekbones and jawline.

Best frame shape:  you hit the jackpot, literally everything works. For starters, though, we vote for soft, angular frames.

Round face shape:  you have full cheekbones with a narrow forehead and jawline.

Best frame shape:  immediately we gravitate toward wide, rectangular frames. Ditch the circular and colored lenses, you don’t need them or the lines they are sure to leave on your cheeks following hours of laughter with the girlfriends.

Sunglasses pictured coming soon – similar BKE and Ray-Ban styles available now!

Square face shape:  you have a broad forehead and square jawline (pretty obvious, we know)

Best frame shape:  you are destined to take a walk on the wild side with a cat-eye or oval frame. Me-ow is right.

Heart face shape:  you have a wide forehead and cheekbones with a narrow chin

Best frame shape:  we LOVE this round lens for you. A statement without feeling like we are losing you behind the frame. (also puts the Snapchat filter to shame)

One thing is for sure, a lot of sun (hopefully complete with sand and large bodies of water) is in our future – and we are READY.
