Tell us about your outfit:
I’m wearing a head-to-toe Outpost Makers outfit. This brand is one of Buckle’s exclusive brands – so you’re not going to find it anywhere else. Outpost Makers is made from premium materials, and creates pieces for sophisticated, refined looks, with a hint of ruggedness. I put this look together because it’s warm and fashionable.
Which Buckle jeans are your favorite?
My favorite denim brands are BKE and Departwest. I wear BKE Alec and Departwest Trouper jeans for their tapered fits. I love these fits because I’m a smaller-framed guy, and these slim fit jeans provide a tailored and fitted look that isn’t overly loose on my legs.
The holidays are coming up. What’s your favorite part about the shopping season?
I love the fast-paced environment that the holiday shoppers bring to my store. I love getting the store prepped for the holidays by setting it up in a way that best helps guests shop.
What’s your go-to holiday outfit?
My go-to holiday outfit is a cleaner, dressier look made from warm layers, like sweaters, button-up shirts and plaids and flannels. These pieces can easily be layered down when you’re inside or if you become too warm.
What do you love about your job?
I love the energy and support that the company’s leadership brings to the table. Each manager is placed into a mentoring group, made up of other managers within the company, and my group as well as all the people I work with on a daily basis are just fantastic. At the store level, I love wardrobing and building relationships with our guests!

What trends and styles are you loving right now?
I’m a big fan of the latest in streetwear styles for men, like long-bodied shirts, destruction, moto and zipper details, and unique washes. All of these features are really bringing streetwear to a whole new level. You can shop all of Buckle’s streetwear styles through this link.
What’s your favorite denim brand?
I wear a lot Dope and Crysp Denim for their statement-making styles. I like these jeans for the heavy destruction, moto and zipper details, and slim tapered fits.
What’s your favorite part of the holiday shopping season?
My favorite part is getting the opportunity to not only outfit individual people, but getting to outfit entire families. It’s an incredible experience that I love sharing with each family that comes into my Buckle store.
Best gifts to give for the holidays?
The best holiday gifts are accessories. With jewelry, cologne, wallets, purses, watches, and all other accessories – you can’t really go wrong because one size fits all!
What’s your go-to holiday outfit?
My go-to holiday outfit is classy and comfortable. I’ll be wearing a Eight X button-up shirt, a nice sweater, clean denim from Outpost Makers, and Steve Madden boots or dress shoes.

What’s the inspiration behind your outfit?
The outfit that I have on is a BKE Vintage Big & Tall plaid shirt, with a BKE Big & Tall black henley, and black leather jacket. I’ve also got on an Ariat hat, BKE Ryan jeans, and black leather boots. The inspiration for my outfit is that all-American guy who is ready for fun. If I get warm, I can just tie the plaid shirt around my waist and still be on-trend.
What’s your favorite types of jeans?
My favorite jeans by far have to be the BKE Nolan and BKE Ryan straight leg jeans. I love the fact that these jeans allow for me as a bigger guy to stay on-trend with the smaller leg openings. Plus, who doesn’t love stretch denim? So comfortable!
What are you going to wear for the holidays?
For the holidays, I will be wearing a nice button-up shirt with one of our premium sweaters, a nice dark pair of jeans, and new boots. This outfit just screams holiday!
Favorite part of the holiday shopping season?
I absolutely love the fast pace of the holiday shopping season. I love seeing guests walk by my store to see if we’re open, and feeling that adrenaline rush when you get to be the hero of the holidays, when you help a guest find the perfect gift for someone, and knowing that you just made someone’s holiday special.
Best gift to give for the holidays?
The best gift to give for the holidays would have to be denim. Jeans in the perfect fit or from your favorite brand can really make you look and feel good. Knowing that whoever I’m giving jeans to is going love them, wear them, and look good – is not only a gift for them but also a gift to me.
What do you love about your job?
The thing I love most about my job is our guests and teammates. I love helping the guests who think Buckle isn’t for them. I help them see all the options that Buckle has to offer and show them how we truly can outfit every type of person from top to bottom. I also love getting to coach and lead my team on a daily basis. I help the teammates in my store develop both professionally and personally, and it’s rewarding to see them succeed. My team is a huge driving force in what makes coming to work every day so joyful.
If there’s one thing you can tell from hearing from Buckle’s Managers, it’s that they get to be themselves at work – showcasing their personal style in each of their outfits and using their individual skills to lead their teams. Buckle Managers come from many different walks of life, but one thing they all share is their passion for the work they do at Buckle!
