Sip on Summer

Play along for a moment (it’ll be worth it, we promise!) and paint a mental picture of what your ideal summer looks like. We’ll give you a moment to really get the details right… now, does your oasis include sunny weather, water nearby, your favorite song playing, new styles on, and a tropical drink in-hand? If so, you’re at the right place to turn all of that into a reality.

While spending time in the oasis that is Tucson, Arizona, our team paired the sunny views with a sweet and spicy pineapple jalapeño drink. Ever since that first sip, we officially declared it our drink of the summer. And the best part is, they’re just as easy to make as they are to devour – which is when we knew this recipe had to be shared with you! Make it as a mocktail or a cocktail – it’s delicious either way!

For a day spent by the water working on your tan follow this recipe for one drink.

What you’ll need

½ oz jalapeño infused simple syrup

1 ½ limes (cut into quarters)

1-2 jalapeño slices (try 3 for some extra kick!)

2 ½ oz pineapple juice

2 ½ oz sparkling water (or silver tequila for anyone 21+ who wants a true margarita)

Instructions

In a cocktail shaker or mixing glass, add the quartered limes, simple syrup, and jalapeños.

Gently mix it together for about 30 seconds – this will release the juices and oils for a flavorful experience.

Pour in the sparkling water (or tequila), pineapple juice, and ice then stir.

Fill your glass with ice and double strain the drink into it.

Garnish your glass with a pineapple, jalapeño, or lime and just like that you’ll all set to sip on summer!
