Wedding Bells… and Outfits

Cake, champagne, color-coordinated décor and the Cha-Cha Slide – what’s not to like?

Wedding season has been going strong for a few months now, and while some people tire of it, we know the power a new outfit can hold.

Now that we are past the point in our lives of graduations and late night rendezvous with far too many wine coolers – it’s exciting to have a reason to take a break from the work/dinner/sleep cycle.

But, whether explaining the wobble to your grandma or screeching to Spice Girls with the high school tribe – we want to look good doing it.

Tall woman in purple floral walk-through maxi romper. Paired with block heeled sandals.

part dress, part romper – all part on-trend. Similar here.

So enter the belle of the ball, the popular girl in our fitting room, the five-star pick – the walk-through maxi.

The maxi length provides a little touch of formal flare, that can quickly be forgotten once on the dance floor.

Brunette woman in neutral palette midi-length romper, paired with black wedges.

The best thing about this dress, is that it isn’t a dress. Olive & Oak romper available here.

A sure way to end the night on a high note? Wear pants.

Not the khakis from that first summer job, but a midi-length romper with a print as bold as us. (but neutral, because sometimes we are just creatures of habit)

Hitting just below the knee, the length is perfect regardless of who is wearing it – add the cut-out back and a universally flattering silhouette is born. #teamromper

Regardless of where you end up on the spectrum of wedding guest attire – remember this…

Shake your groove thing, baby.
