At Buckle, we know that the holidays are better spent in the comfort of your own home.
But when you or your loved one is facing cancer, traveling out-of-town for treatments can start to become a new reality.
A reality that the American Cancer Society® is determined to make a little less burdensome with more than thirty Hope Lodge locations throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

What’s A Hope Lodge?
Since 1970, Hope Lodges have provided cancer patients and their caregivers a free, home-like environment to stay in when effective treatment takes them to other cities.
With private rooms and communal spaces designed to connect with others, Hope Lodges allow families from all over the country to focus less on paying for lodging, and more on getting better.
The Hope Lodges served 24,000 cancer patients and caregivers in 2016, and to date have provided over 456,000 free nights of lodging to those spending time away from home.
To help maintain a supportive and nurturing environment, our Buckle managers from across the U.S. donated non-perishable goods and products to help stock a new Hope Lodge that will be opening in early 2018 in Omaha, Nebraska!
