Echoing the sentiment in our last post, Buckle is working tirelessly to keep our guests and teammates healthy and safe. That being said, we’ve introduced a series of enhanced cleaning protocols, while also taking note of recommendations from federal and local officials on how best to move forward.
First, masks. Personal protective equipment is being provided to our Teammates in an effort to stop the spread. We ask that if masks are required by law in your area, that you put your mask on before entering our store, and even if law doesn’t require masks, we’d recommend one to keep our teams safe.
Now about that social distancing. It’s hard for us too (especially since we’re huggers), but we encourage maintaining a six foot distance between you and people frpm different households, including our teammates.
In regards to cleaning, we’re keeping it sparkling. We have implemented new cleaning measures throughout the entire store, with a big focus on high touch point areas (things like the register, pin pads, etc.).
That being said, we ask that if you aren’t feeling 100%, that you put off coming to visit us in person. We want you healthy, and want to keep everyone else healthy in the meantime! We promise our teams will be there for you the minute you’re back on your feet. To make sure our team members are doing their part as well, we have been conducting wellness checks on teammates before they begin each shift.
And finally, we’re throwing it back to our favorite foolproof method of keeping it clean – hand washing. Our suggestion? Wash your hands prior to, and immediately after visiting your favorite store! If you don’t have a chance to wash before coming into our store, please use the sanitizer located near our entry or at our register before looking around. This helps bring a little peace of mind, and is just a good cleanliness measure to adopt.
We’ve said it once, and we will say it a million times over – we’ve missed you and being in our stores so much, but we want to do this right. By taking all the steps we can to be safe on the front-end, we are doing our part to keep you and our teams healthy.
