How To: Air Fryer Pumpkin Seeds
It's not fall until a pumpkin is within sight, and where there are pumpkins, there are pumpkin seeds. While the fun of the season around carving pumpkins does get a lot of it's own attention, we also can't help but love the snack that follows.
So, here we are - with a quick recipe to make your pumpkin guts into an easy, delicious, fall snack with a little help from the air fryer.
The fun part - remove all of the seeds from your pumpkin. Try your best to separate the pulp from the seeds.
To remove the pulp further, put the seeds in a colander and rinse under running water. OR boil the seeds for 10 minutes in salted water.
Lay the seeds on a towel (paper is fine!) the press to make sure they are completely dry.
Put the dried pumpkin seeds into a bowl. Add melted butter along with the garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until the seeds are coated.
Spread the seeds into the air fryer basket.
Cook at 360 degrees for 5-7 minutes, shake the basket, then cook another 5-7 minutes until crisp.
Enjoy!
