Wear Together

How are your jeans doing?

That favorite pair that somehow always manages to be fished out of your laundry basket for just *one more wear*.

How about that pair of heels that knows a dance floor or two around town? The pair you swear you could walk ten miles in, but we aren’t one to make bets.

That top you bought two summers ago that is every bit of in style now, as it was then. That’s the perfect amount of cotton so it gives freedom from the months of chunky sweaters we’ve grown use to.

Chances are, they are just fine. Sitting exactly where you left them a little over a month ago, when everything started to go a little sideways.

Maybe you should put them on today?

Maybe.

Maybe one of the things missing from today, and honestly the last 42, is just that feeling of security you get in your favorite outfit. You know the one. The one you always have as ‘an option’ when your best friends know it’s actually ‘the option’ unless you decide to flirt with something new.

For this writer, it’s the only kind of math I’m comfortable computing without showing my work. This perfectly cropped top with the blouse sleeves, paired with that mile-high denim I’ve now bought three times over, to that sandal with the slight heel = the outfit that I feel my best in, unstoppable, like *me* in.

We’ve all got one, and we’ve been noticing while following our #buckleathome hashtag. Here are a few of our favorites.

the best way to bring in summer a little early? wear bright white. (also, an instant mood booster if we do say so ourselves)
@tyleragraham bringing summer a little early with crisp whites and shades of blue // shop the look with the RVCA Calico shirt and K-Swiss sneakers.
add a little 90s flair by pairing a chunky heel with straight cut denim
@abb.reese bringing us right back to the ’90s with some help from Madden Girl, and we aren’t mad in the least
we're cutting our favorite fits short and adding denim shorts to the rotation. pairing with a tee makes for the ultimate throw on and go outfit.
making her own sunshine, the only thing we love more than @lindseysondra’s outfit is her accessory of choice 🐶 (click here to shop shorts!)
if you're looking to add a little off-duty cool to your rotation,, we suggest looking into Sullen and Affliction's graphics paired with a black denim.
graphics that make someone do a double take? @chadisrad has it covered in Affliction and Rock Revival
bohemian beauties, this one is for you. pair a slightly sheer top with a detailed bralette for a look you'll love for years.
@christinemariestyle is bringing all of the perfectly bohemian vibes in her slightly sheer White Crow top and bralette.

Let’s keep the good vibes and favorite outfits going. Show us your favorite pieces to wear together, and how you’re styling them by tagging us (@buckle) and using the #buckleathome hashtag.

We’ll be watching (and armed with all of the double taps). ❤️
